Insane Ink gives back to the community.

As a student organization, Insane Ink finds it important to donate back to the community for giving our organization so many resources. Some activities we've participated in are:

Team Derick
Unfortunately, in the summer of 2011, Derick passed away from his leukemia. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family. During October 2011, Insane Ink collaborated once again with Interact and Team Derick to recreate and donated shirts to help raise money for cancer research in order to cure leukemia. 100% of the proceeds went to the American Cancer Society.

Special Olympic Jog-A-Thon
Insane Ink partnered up with the Special Olympics Jog-A-Thon during April 2009. The Insane Ink has collaborated with the Special Olympics Jog-a-Thon since 2009. The Jog-A-Thon is an event in which Special Ed students from around the ESUHSD (East Side Union High School District) attempt to get as many sponsors as they can to jog as many laps as possible.Sponsors can decide how much money they want to give for each lap a student completes. On the actual day of the event, 200 plus students line up on the track and run, jog, or walk for one hour. "Insane Ink has provided my ESUHSD Adapted Physical Education program with participation t-shirts for the last few years for our annual jog-a-thon fundraiser. These t-shirts have all been donated, which in turn has allowed us to make more money for our special education students. In these times of limited funding, this has allowed our program to continue with extracurricular activities for our students. We firmly believe this helps us develop our students to the fullest extent academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Thank you," said Mr. Brian Ward, who is involved with this event.

Piedmont Hills High School Campus Regreening
On April 16, 2011, Piedmont Hills along with Our City Forest participated in a campus beautification event. Insane Ink donated food for more than 100 volunteers.

Bloomers Club T-Shirts
At Piedmont Hills High School, the Special Education department has a club called Bloomers, where special needs students are "mainstreamed" into the world by going on field trips and doing fun activities. Insane Ink designed and donated shirts to Bloomers for their field trips.

Scholarships
As a nonprofit student organization, Insane Ink provides scholarships to each of its students at the end of the year. These scholarships, called grants, are used to go towards college fees.

As a profitable business, Insane Ink enjoys the opportunity to give back to the community. If you are interested in having Insane Ink sponsor your event or donate t-shirts, please contact us today.
